MOVING TO A WHOLE NEW COUNTRY

Last year I made a huge decision in my life: I decided to leave Brasil and go somewhere new. Honestly, I didn't feel like I was living my best life where I was, so I knew this could be great for me.
Now, I am already in Portugal, the first country on my new journey - yes, "first", because I still wanna go to Spain after some months in here! It's been almost two months since I got here, and I want to share some of my feelings with you all.
First of all, it's scary! I remember crying at the airport having no idea what to expect from the next day. Also, to me, family is really important and I have been missing them a lot. On the other hand, I've been feeling really excited about what life has in store for me, and I keep telling myself: I've gotta keep going in order to make things happen!
Life here in Portugal has been pretty fun! The city I currently live in is really cute and a lot smaller than what I was used to: I can basically walk or bike anywhere! The downside is that, since it's only been a month and a half, bureaucracies and paperwork have been keeping me busy so I can have all of my documentation in order. The good news is that, now that this annoying bit is almost over, I can have more time to go see new places and new people.
The thing I miss the most is having my people close to me. I have many friends back in Brazil, and I'm still building new connections here, so it's gonna take a while until I feel the warmth of friendship. However, I know it's gonna happen, and I can't wait.
Do I feel like I made a good choice by moving? Absolutely! Many good things can come from change!
